A Morning with Morgan Stanley

This Fall, Charidy partnered with Morgan Stanley on their Endowment and Foundation Forum hosted in NYC. This joint venture was especially relevant, as Morgan Stanley possesses a rich history in providing financial management and services for non profits in New York. It was a morning filled with learning, conversation, and networking. Read on to learn more about this amazing event!

The morning started out with a deep discussion into the world of nonprofit investments led by The Rhodes/Leopold Group from Morgan Stanley with deep knowledge of the topics.

Some of the topics included: Endowment & Foundation Trends for 2020, Aligning Capital with Mission through Impact Investing Panel and Innovative Funding Strategies for Program Related Investments.

Then we had a break for some snacks and coffee

Charidy’s CEO Yehouda Gurwitz and Charidy’s CIO Moshe Hecht spoke to the crowd on Inspiring the Next Generation of Givers and shared a presentation on How to Harness Crowdfunding to Transform Your Fundraising Efforts.

There were many more presentations, including a nonprofit panel discussing traditional fundraising vs crowdfunding and the value this new type of engagement makes a huge difference for nonprofits.

Following the event and presentations, the group connected and networked with fellow nonprofit leaders, creative thinkers, and financial professionals.

We were thrilled to partner with Morgan Stanley on their Endowment and Foundation Forum. Their team demonstrated a deep understanding of the New York nonprofit community, with nonprofits representing the full depth and breadth of our city’s rich culture in attendance. Morgan Stanley is deeply involved in the work of religious communities which is evident in their recently published Jewish Values Tool Kit. To learn more about the Jewish Values Tool Kit, click here
